

After riding, we went fishing on our dock. We got lots of little nibbles but didn't haul any in. We still had fun.


Then we had dinner and 'ritas. We stayed up late watching Saturday Night Live.
On Sunday, we went back out to Bar-K-R for riding lessons. Maggie took the first lesson on Dakota. They're working with Dakota to bring his head down and even out his trot. Personally, these side reins remind me of some kind of torture device. Maggie thinks they look like a chariot.

And...I "conned" (according to Stacy) Stacy into taking a lesson from our trainer, Johanna Lange.
Stacy learned how to emergency stop, leg cue and trot without holding onto the horn. Watch the video below!
Afterwards we headed back to Dallas and reality...
