A Walk at the Lake

For Mother's Day, Gary and Maggie gave me the promise of a new lens for my camera. I chose a 70-300mm. Mags and I tested it out on one of our walks at the lake. We started out at the new chicken coop where the chicks were playing with a head of lettuce:
